We like to begin with trend forecasting and foresight to imagine possible futures within your scope and your businesses role in that new World. FORESIGHT & METHODOLOGY
We start by understanding your business, its purpose, needs, questions, hunches, resources, processes, biases and profit formula. We then use forecasting and trend analysis to reimagine future Worlds and your businesses role in these.
We use desk research to collect data on your market, consumer and industry, to help shape conversation, and then build empathy through deep immersion and connection with who you seek to serve and subject matter experts, to unearth insight in the form of quotes, photos, videos, & data, putting peoples needs first and seeking the why beneath everything.
With a problem to solve defined, we set out to co-create possible ideas, interventions and scenarios, to better make sense of the insights uncovered and explore their relevance to your business. We transcribe and cluster looking for patterns, outliers, and a shared understanding of the opportunity.
With interventions in mind we seek to validate our hypothesis and enrich our evolution of understanding from knowledge to insight, contextualizing through prototyping and user testing of ideas, to prioritise and create robust frameworks around the insight.

Our fitness community is made up of over 220 members, from a diverse range of backgrounds and lifestyles. The majority of our members are female identifying (5 to 79 years old), a quarter of which are also new to the health & fitness space (< 2 years).
We are headquartered in a 6500 SQFT fitness facility in the St. Johns neighborhood in NW Portland, Oregon. We picked this location to house our work, to be rooted in a real fitness community, and to ensure our work is giving back to a neighborhood. This modern ecosystem provides unique perspectives on the health and fitness industry, and is a perfect playground to unearth insight, co-create and incubate new ideas, products and services in a truly living lab with a real fitness community.
Our space includes a 4000 SQFT functional movement floor & private studio, recovery & wellness area, kitchen & community garden, collaborative meeting & work spaces, and leading coaches and subject experts in the movement, nutrition, recovery & mindset space.
We combine decades of experience leading qualitative field research, and custom built test environments, together with state of the art behavioral analysis, and performance data capture, to really dig deeper into the why, exploring your question, hunch, or idea in depth.
